Children In The Trenches

Say goodbye to those basic, plastic-looking raincoats for kids and hello to Burberry’s stylish, miniature versions of its classic line of Heritage trench coats.

The English-made coats are crafted with cotton garbardine, invented in the 1800’s by Thomas Burberry, making them lightweight yet durable and protective against the elements. Rain stands no chance against this tightly-woven fabric, which is also breathable, for your little one’s comfort.

The traditional, military-inspired aesthetic is just as eye-catching in the kids’ versions, with shoulder epaulettes, a gun flap at the chest and storm shield covers at the back of the Wiltshire-Heritage trench coat for boys. For the girls, the classic Sandringham-Heritage trench coat touts the same features. Each coat is also lined with the company’s signature and eye-catching check design, dating back to the 1920’s.

Pair the style with one of Burberry’s monogrammable, 100-percent cashmere scarves (the Mini Classic Cashmere Scarf in Check and Hearts is one of our favorites!) to complete the refined, yet playful look.

The Wiltshire-Heritage trench coat comes in four colors – navy, black, stone and honey – while the Sandringham-Heritage trench coat does as well – navy, black, honey and parade red. Treat your tot to the perfect, autumn-ready coat this fall season! Oh…and they come in baby sizes too! All styles are available on the Burberry website.
